Global Kids

Global Kids is a special Gymboree program that allows children to explore the world through art, music, dance, storytelling, and play.

The program progresses in three-week cycles, each focusing on a different continent or region.

For example, in the Northern Lights theme, children explore Canadian and Scandinavian cultures, while in the Africa Adventures theme, they experience the rhythms, colors, and movements of Africa.

In every class, children:

• Learn a local greeting or the word “hello.”

• Try a traditional dance or song.

• Create artworks inspired by local arts (such as Inuit masks, tulip-themed crafts, African drum patterns).

• Participate in the World Table activity inspired by traditional foods or color themes.

They record their experiences in their My Travel Journal with drawings and stamps.

Through these experiences, children not only get to know the world but also develop empathy, cultural curiosity, and global citizenship awareness.
