SCHOOL READINESS
About Program School Readiness
The School Readiness program is designed for children aged 5 and above as they prepare for the transition to primary school. At this stage, the focus is on consolidating prior learning and equipping children with the academic, social, and behavioral skills needed for a successful start to formal education.
Within a structured and goal-oriented environment, children are supported in developing early literacy and numeracy skills, including letter recognition and formation, as well as basic mathematical concepts. Emphasis is also placed on following instructions, sustaining attention, and adapting to classroom routines.
As more independent learners, children are encouraged to take responsibility for their work, express their ideas clearly, and participate confidently in group learning experiences.
In the School Readiness program, children:
- Develop early reading and writing skills, including letter recognition and formation,
- Build foundational math skills such as counting, sorting, and number awareness,
- Strengthen attention, listening, and instruction-following skills,
- Enhance classroom participation and group learning behaviors,
- Grow in independence, responsibility, and self-confidence.
Our goal is to support children in becoming confident, capable, and well-prepared learners, ready to transition smoothly into primary school.
