Music
Gymboree Music is a global music program where children experience rhythm, melody, language, and cultures through play. With themes changing every three weeks, children explore different musical styles such as Latin, African, Asian, Classical, Disco, R&B, and Rock & Roll.
These themes help children experience both cultural diversity and the multifaceted nature of music.
In every class, children:
Listen to and recognize authentic music genres from different parts of the world.
Play instruments such as maracas, rhythm sticks, castanets, bells, tambourines, and drums.
Express music through dance, body movements, and dramatic play.
Develop language awareness and listening skills by following repeated lyrics and rhythm patterns.
Strengthen teamwork, collaboration, and leadership skills while making music together.
The program aims not just to listen, but to feel and produce music; music becomes a bridge between emotion, movement, culture, and communication. Children dance to samba rhythms, jump with the energy of rock & roll, and explore tempo through classical melodies.
Each class ends with the familiar “Goodbye Song,” offering children a warm conclusion to a joyful musical journey where they don’t just hear the music—they live it.
