Play & Learn
Play & Learn is Gymboree’s world-renowned and patented program. It offers children the opportunity to learn by moving, solving problems, and using their imagination.
The classroom environment is completely renewed every three weeks. With themes such as Camping, Math Explorers, Space Adventures, and Under the Sea, children step into a new world each time. In these themes, skills like climbing, balancing, crawling, jumping, and teamwork are integrated seamlessly.
During this process, children:
Strengthen their motor skills.
Experience and internalize concepts of balance, distance, and direction.
Learn colors, numbers, and shapes through active play.
Develop their creativity and self-confidence through imitation, role-playing, and symbolic play.
For example, during Math Explorers week, children go on a "number hunt," find hidden geometric shapes in climbing areas, and build towers with blocks. In the Camping Adventure theme, they pitch tents, share stories around an "imaginary campfire," and explore nature and animals through dramatic play.
Play & Learn is not just a physical activity class; it is a learning laboratory that combines a child's body, mind, and imagination. Every movement sparks a thought, and every discovery ignites new learning.
